The Story
I am an AVG reseller in Victoria BC Canada. I buy AVG licenses in US dollars and resell them to my Canadian clients in Canadian dollars. The problem with buying in US dollars is that you never know what it is going to cost until you get your credit card statement. That's where this web page comes in.
The prices below are in CANADIAN dollars. They are based on the US dollar prices on AVG's web site. Note that the exchange rate changes several times a day, so that my prices will change with them.
When you buy AVG products from me, you will pay for them through my Canadian dollar PayPal account. Note that the prices below DO NOT include 12% BC HST that I am obliged to collect on every sale to Canadian residents and businesses.
The more computers you buy licenses for, the less it will cost you, per computer, per year. The fact that the per computer per year figure changes by an inconsistent amount is not my doing. These are AVG's US prices converted to Canadian dollars.
Why buy AVG?
I prefer and sell AVG Antivirus and Internet Security software because it is safe, reliable and NOT CONSTANTLY IN MY FACE about alerts and updates.
What to buy?
If you have a router that acts as a
hardware firewall, buy AVG Anti-Virus.
If you don't have a router, buy AVG Anti-Virus with Firewall.
This will slow your computer down a bit, because it has to be both
the Anti-Virus program and the firewall.
If you want to be as safe as possible buy AVG Internet Security.
Why buy from me?
With each purchase you will get one FREE Remote Service Call, about AVG or any other issue. Details will be sent with your AVG license number.
Some of your money will stay and be spent in Canada.
How to buy:
NEW LICENSES
For
up to 10 computers, go to

will email you an invoice with a PayPal link. When you have
paid, I will purchase the licenses and email them to you in less
than 12 hours. (AVG can take up to 2 hours to send me the licenses).
If you need the software NOW, go to
this page to
download and install the free trial. When you get your
license(s), you only need to copy and paste it into the program.
No re-installation is necessary.
NOTE: THERE ARE NO RETURNS or CREDITS
ON SOFTWARE LICENSES. If you would like to try
the software, get the
free trial,
and use it until you are comfortable with it, then email me to
purchase the license.
For MORE THAN 10 computers email me for a price quote. The cost per computer per year will be less than any on the price list.
RENEW YOUR LICENSE(S)
If you already
own an AVG product and want to renew it,
go to this
page or
send me
an email with your current AVG license number.
You must include your current AVG license number in your
email to RENEW.
Where to find your license number?
Open the AVG program on your
computer and click on the HELP menu, then on
ABOUT. The number it shows you is missing the
last 4 characters. I can look these up if I have the rest of
the number.
Highlight the number, hold down the CTRL key and press the 'c' key
to copy the number. Switch to the email you are sending me
(hold down ALT and press TAB), then paste the number into the email
by holding down the CTRL key and pressing the 'v' key.
I will email
